1. First Pinterest Project or Recipe. 
My very first Pinterest project was a wreath. A super time-consuming wreath. I've posted this wreath before, but I'm not very excited for (a) how much it cost (b) how long it took and (c) how it looked when I was finished.

I'm sure if I re-did this wreath, I would make a better one, but I just don't feel like it. I've made many wreaths after this and I like them more and more each time! I love Pinterest!

2. First Song that Comes Up (Can be iPod or Pandora!)
I am going to answer this both ways, because it's hilarious. Turned on Pandora and this is the first song that started playing (via No Scrubs Radio):

Talk about a throw-back! The second song that started playing was Ride Wit Me by Nelly. I love this station! And here's the first song that started playing when I turned on iTunes:

I love me some Jason Mraz! Anyone remember The Remedy AKA the song that made me fall in love with him?

3. First Product You Use in the Shower.
That would be my Tresemme Color Protection Shampoo and Conditioner! Gotta keep my color from fading, right? And, I especially love these because they are HUGE bottles AND they come with a salon pump! I love it when I can catch them when they have the salon pump!

Weekend Recap!!

I had a pretty exciting weekend so I'm gonna link up with Sami's Shenenigans for Weekend Shenanigans! Let's just get right into, you wanna?

Friday: 

Friday was pretty awesome! I headed up to Atlanta for my first baseball game of the season. Check out the shirts that I got for this season:

Aren't they adorable?? I love them. When I got to Atlanta, I helped out with the Homeless Pets Foundation before the game to try and get some puppies a home. I wish I could take them all, but I can't. *sadface*

Here's a few pictures that were taken on Friday, at the Braves game. Braves won, I got to see some friends that I hadn't seen in ages and I got to go out so I was a happy happy girl. 

That jacket I'm wearing I had to buy at the game. I hate spending lots of money on clothes, but it was freezing and I had to do something about that - so I bought a $69 jacket. The cheapest jacket in the whole stadium. Was it worth it? I don't know - but what I do know is that I'm gonna be wearing it A LOT so it will seem like it was worth it. See what I mean:

I mean, it's pretty cute though, right? Okay, it was worth it. 

Now, here's a couple of pictures from Friday night with my sweet friend J-Dub who I hadn't seen in a long time! I love her!

Saturday:

Yeah, all that was on Friday. Can you believe it? I can't either. Saturday we got up and walked to Centennial Park for the Big Dance concert series for Final Four weekend. It was SO. CROWDED. I expected it though. I mean, the line up was insane! Macklemore, Ludacris, Flo Rida, Muse. Unfortunately, I could only handle it for so long without food or water, so I only got to really see Macklemore. I caught a little bit of Luda while I was eating (which is kind of a bummer because I love me some Luda!). Muse ended up being after the basketball game, so I didn't get to see them either. I had to head home. WHAT. A. LONG. DRIVE. Anyways - it was TOTALLY worth it! Here's my pics from Macklemore! He was awesome! 

Sunday: 

Sunday I made it all the way home. I was tired, I hurt and I felt like a truck hit me on the highway. It was all worth the weekend that I had. That, and the ACMs were on last night and I got to see Lukey Luke in his skinny jeans. Yes, please! 

What did you do this weekend? Bet it wasn't as good as mine! :)

Sunday Social!

Let's just dive right in, shall we?  1. What is your favorite type of workout to do? I really liked to run until I injured my foot and was told that I wasn't allowed to run anymore. But, fear not. I just had a check up appointment and doc told me that I could TRY to run again, but I wouldn't be doing anymore half marathons. Boo! I guess it will be all 5k's from here on out. Who's in? Also, why isn't my favorite workout something that will help my abs? That would just be too convenient. 2. What is your favorite guilty pleasure candy or sweet? I really like cupcakes. And now, we have a new cupcake shop in town and it's SO HARD for me to stay away. They have like every flavor and change them every day. What is a girl to do??

3. What is one thing you continuously forget to do? I ALWAYS forget to pay my water bill. Every single bill I have can be paid online except for that one. I never go to the side of town in which to pay that bill, so it's always late. I hate that it's always late, but they need to get an online payment system worked out!  4. Do you prefer Post-Its or phone reminders? Why? Most definitely Post-Its. I hoard them at work. It's so satisfying to rip one off of the wall when you're done with that task. It's like it makes it real that I actually finished something. There are a lot of Post-Its in my office.

5. What is your favorite picture currently on your phone that always makes you smile? I actually just took a photo that I don't think I will be deleting any time soon. It's of Hubs, and he makes me laugh. I love him. Here he is in all of his glory:

Insta-dump!

I like to wait until Saturday night to link  up with this because I always have the most pictures on Saturdays and almost none during the week. I think I need to step my Instagram game up! But, either way, here we go! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram to keep up with me in real time! I promise I'll start doing better! 

So, winter's over and we decided that Kimber needed her winter coat brushed off. Didn't expect all this! 

Came into work on Thursday (our last work day since we have Good Friday off) and had a cute little chocolate Easter bunny on my desk. Yum! I love my job!

Kimber is seen in rare form here, actually letting me taking a picture of both of us together. Normally, she would probably be thinking "Ain't nobody got time fa dat!"

In case you missed it - BASEBALL STARTS MONDAY!! So, in celebration, I put up my baseball wreath to ring in the day that I wait for all winter. Fun fact - until today, I still had my Valentine door hang proudly displayed. Whoops! 

Went to the clay shooting trail today and it was hot! After we finished we needed something to cool us off. What better than a nice spinach fruit smoothie. SO GOOD. I swear I could drink one of these every day.

Cara Box Reveal!

This was my very first time doing the Cara Box exchange set up by Kaitlyn at Wifessionals. Let me just say, it won't be my last!!! Basically I buy for someone and someone else buys for me. In the process you get to know 2 lovely ladies who you might normally not have found otherwise. Each month has a theme and this time we bought for each other things that started with the first letter of their first name.

I was paired to gift Tara at Laila's Charming Pieces. You can see her reveal post and check out what I got her here. She has a great Etsy shop that you might want to check out while you're there too! 

Taylor at Confessions of a Busy Busy Bee was chosen to gift me! She's an awesome girl from up north who blogs about whatever comes to her mind - Just like yours truly!  She even just redesigned her blog all by herself! 

I was so excited when my box arrived! The most adorable box I've ever seen was sitting on my front step when I got off of work last week. 

Who wouldn't be excited to see a box this cute? 

I immediately went inside to open it up. This is what I found:

I'm a sucker for color coordination and ribbons. Not gonna lie. 

I took everything out and I had a lot of stuff to open!

How cute is that tape? And the card was handmade too! 

Once I unwrapped everything here are the goodies that I found:

1. Target Gift Card for $5! Target is my absolutely favorite store. I'm kind of wondering why I haven't used it already! 

2. Thongs/Flip Flops! Aren't they cute? So summery! They made me smile when I opened them up. I wish the weather would hurry up and get warm!

3. Tazo Tea! Confession time - I've never had this tea. None of the flavors. I'm pretty excited to try it. Also, I bought Tara the same tea! Isn't that funny?

4. Twix! This is the flavor of the month in the Lott household. She even wrote a note on it for Hubs to tell him to back off! SORRY! 

5. The Best of Me - Nicolas Sparks. I'm really excited for this. I've been trying to find a book to read and I just haven't had the patience to walk around the book store to find one. I'm so glad someone did that for me. And it's Nicholas Sparks. I mean, you really can't go wrong there. 

6. A handmade card that matched all of the wrapping. It had the sweetest note in it. Seriously, go check out her blog. 

All in all, this was a great exchange. I can't wait for another one. It might have to wait until May though because I've already got the Spring Exchange lined up for April. I love exchanges. I can never do enough of them. Did you do the Cara Box Exchange? What did you get?? 

First Things First!

Before I get started with my weekly link-up with Halie, I have some SUPER exciting news for any of you that follow the NFL. Today, at the relief of several million people around the US, Tony Gonzalez announced that he will return for another season with the Atlanta Falcons!

*Insert Shrill Here*

Tony Gonzalez is a future Hall of Famer who has never won a Superbowl ring. He spent most of his career with the KC Chiefs, but KC traded him to the Falcons late in his career in hopes that he may one day get the ring he deserves. This is our year, Falcons fans! It's time to RISE UP and give Tony the ring he deserves!!

It's First Things First with Halie, Allie and Carrie! Let's do this thang!

1. First Magazine Subscription.
My first REAL magazine subscription that I ever picked out for myself was Teen Vogue. I loved reading that magazine back then. I remember it being really small but fat. Like, it wasn't a normal sized magazine. I may actually still have a stockpile of them at my mom's house. After I read them, I used them for collages, along with my subscription to Seventeen and CosmoGirl. What can I say? I was a magazine junkie.

2. First REAL Piece of Jewelry You Owned. 
My parents bought me a little diamond ring when I was a baby. My mom still has it at the house. It's just a little gold band with a little bitty diamond on it. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't even fit my pinky anymore, but I love that I have it. I also remember one time finding a ring in the ball pit at McDonalds when I was a little girl. It was gold and had a ruby stone with diamonds around it. No one ever put out a missing ad for it so I got to keep it. It was so pretty! I was so excited when I found it!

3. First Time I stayed Home Alone.
I honestly can not remember this. We grew up living next door to my grandparents, so technically we were never 'alone'. I will tell you one thing: I'm almost positive that the first time I ever stayed home alone, I was on the phone about 90% of that time. I couldn't stay off of the phone when I was that age. I don't know what my problem was. Now, I don't really like talking on the phone. What gives?

1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch?  Easy. ANY exorcist exorcism movie. At all. That is too much. They've gone too far. That stuff really happens! Will not watch those. Nu-uh. No ma'am. 

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven't yet?  This is also a surprisingly easy question for me. Breaking Bad. I'm a chemist. I REALLY want to get into this show, but it's so far into it already! I don't like to just jump in to a show when it's so far along. I'm trying to catch up on Netflix, but I always forget that I'm trying to catch up. I wish I could remember!!

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?  Gonna be honest here - Everything on my bucket list is pretty freaking safe. I don't want to die before finishing everything! :)  If I had to choose one thing it would be something like going to all of the MLB ballparks... Home baseball fans can get pretty vicious toward visiting team fans! Except Braves fans of course. We're super nice. 

4. Would you ever travel alone? I've traveled alone for work before, but once I got to where I was going, there was always someone there that I was meeting. I don't think I would ever go on a complete trip somewhere just by myself. Just me and Hubs, though? I'm all for that. 
5. What activities do you like to do alone?  Heh... Just kidding! Get your minds out of the gutters people!! I like to do my arts and crafts alone. I also like to shop alone. There is nothing more relaxing to me than going to the store with money to spend and no one rushing me or following my every move around the store. I absolutely love it. It's like therapy.

Confession time: I don't really read too terribly much so I don't really have a reading list per-say. Whenever a good book comes out that I think I will enjoy, I will try to pick it up and read it. Other than that it's just funny memoirs (Chelsea Handler, Tucker Max, etc.). I DO want to read all of the Hunger Game books before the next movie though.

Monday:

Monday I reviewed a bargain shopping spree that I went on with my Momma. My favorite purchase from that day? My pink glitter Sperry Topsiders for $20. Sadly, it's literally been flooding where I live so I haven't got to wear them at all yet! Boo! 

Tuesday: 

Tuesday I linked up with Halie for First Things First. We talked about our first choice for breakfast (breakfast casserole), beverage (sweet tea, duh! and maragaritas) and dessert (Buffalo Wild Wings cheesecake bites a la mode on top of a fried tortilla - I have no idea of the name). 

Wednesday:

Wednesday I had a 2 part post! The first half I was linking up with Insta-Lately and took a huge Instadump on my blog. Part 2 was answering some questions from my 3rd nomination for the Liebster. Thanks again for  the noms, ya'll! Makes a girl feel so loved! 

Thursday: 

Thursday was the day that changed my blogging life forever. Helene started Blog Connect and I learned about button swapping with Passionfruit ads!
